Wales Online (a web site you no doubt visit regularly) reports on identical Welsh twin brothers Steve and Paul, 40, who create life-size replicas of Stormtrooper uniforms largely by touch:
“We tend to use our hands a lot as well for feeling to see if something is solid and straight.
“We were brought up on Star Wars and our parents used to buy us the figures – that’s where it came from really.
“It is just a childhood thing and the Stormtrooper suits is just something that’s so iconic.”
Steve and Paul take three months to create the 45-piece suits which are made of papier-mâché, painted and varnished before being distressed with tea bags.
Stereo knobs and plastic bottles are used to add the odd finer touch.
The suits are even worn in public by Steve and Paul and create masses of attention among people who are amazed to learn the brothers are blind.
