A book full of plasticine Star Wars characters--by a grown man
Why is a grown man making plasticine images of R5-D4 and Walrus Man? So he can photograph them and sell them in a book, of course. From io9:
Plasticine Tatooine: Stories from the Star Wars Second String is illustrator Elliott Quince's awesome take on some of Star Wars's less well-recognized — but no less important — characters...
Quince says:
What I've decided to do, to make this project different, is to select a bunch of the more random cast members and imagine how bitter they must have been at not making it big, how badly they were treated on set or how cruelly their lives have panned out since the movies were released.
And just to spice things up a bit, he went ahead and captured these characters' essence with plasticine.
