Star Wars Holiday Special in 1080p

YouTuber justarandomguy1977 has digitized and upscaled a copy of the Star Wars Holiday Special to 1080p high definition. The first three minutes are shown above. He promises to remaster the entire thing if his video becomes popular.

While I don't really care to encourage this project--the Holiday Special being bad enough as is--there's something fascinatingly disturbing about seeing post-crash Mark Hamill in 1080p. Watch soon, though, because Lucasfilm may not tolerate this for long.
