Nestlé Star Wars pendants c. 1979 now trendy accessories in Norway

CollectingCandy.com--some people collect old candy, apparently--has a feature on a 1979 Nestlé promotion for Star Wars pendants (shown above). My sister had a C-3PO pendant very similar to this, but I don't recall her ever sending away for it in the mail. We were not allowed to each much candy.
Coincidentally, a Norwegian fashion web site ran a story yesterday about a "vintage Star Wars charm bracelet" found in a shop. Judging by the photo, the charms are Nestlé's.
